‘Good Omens 3’ Poster Drops: Holding Onto Hope for Aziraphale and Crowley’s Final Chapter
After it was confirmed this past February that Good Omens 3—the film set to wrap up Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant)’s story—will arrive on May 13, the show’s official social media accounts have been slowly, very slowly, giving us glimpses of what’s to come. And yes, we’ve been paying attention to every single crumb.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen stills featuring familiar faces (which you can catch in the gallery below), keeping the fandom fed just enough to stay on edge. Then, earlier this week, we got a brief but intriguing teaser: an 11-second video hinting at the “Second Coming,” showing Jesus (played by Palestinian actor Bilal Hasna) seemingly making his way back to Earth. It’s cryptic, a little ominous, and honestly? Exactly the kind of tone that makes us both nervous and excited for what’s ahead.

And now, we finally have the Good Omens 3 poster.

As y’all can see, the newly released Good Omens 3 poster leans into that same sense of distance and uncertainty. While we won’t spoil every visual detail here, what stands out immediately is how it frames Aziraphale and Crowley, not just physically, but emotionally. There’s a space between them that feels intentional, almost heavy, and as fans who have been rooting for this celestial duo (read: ineffable husbands) from the very beginning, we can’t help but feel a little anxious. Still, we’re holding onto hope that this final chapter gives them the chance to fix what’s broken and maybe, just maybe, find their version of a happily ever after.
As of now, not much is officially known about what this last installment will fully explore. According to the brief description available on IMDb, Good Omens 3 will see “Aziraphale, now Supreme Archangel, seek Crowley’s help as plans for the Second Coming take a surprising yet dangerous turn.” Which, if you ask us, sounds like the perfect setup for both chaos and emotional devastation.
Adding to our anticipation, back in December, rumors began circulating about a cast and crew private screening of the film. Michael Sheen later confirmed it with a tweet that only made us more eager (and maybe a little scared): “So this is a big bird saying—we had a screening last night. I laughed and I cried. There’ll be bits you absolutely love and there’ll be things you’ll argue about of course. It should have been 6 episodes but it’s not. Thank God for what it is. Brilliantly directed, beautiful performances, fantastic new looks, incredible work all round. And there’s nightingales.”
We don’t know about you, but “there’s nightingales” alone has us emotionally preparing for impact.

At the same time, we can’t ignore the complicated reality surrounding Good Omens 3. The relatively quiet rollout and restrained promotion, especially for a project this anticipated, haven’t gone unnoticed, and in many ways, we understand why. The situation involving Neil Gaiman has cast a shadow over the project, and while it’s difficult to see a story we care about so deeply exist under those circumstances, it also reflects a larger reality: actions carry consequences.
What makes it even more bittersweet is that Good Omens has always been more than one person. This world and these characters don’t belong to just one voice, they’re also part of the late Sir Terry Pratchett’s legacy and the result of a deeply collaborative effort. Beyond any one name, there’s an entire cast and crew who have helped shape this story into something meaningful, especially for queer audiences who have embraced Aziraphale and Crowley’s relationship as something deeply resonant, even within all its celestial chaos. Watching that legacy feel somewhat muted in its final moments is tough.
But it is what it is. For now, the Good Omens 3 poster serves as a reminder that this story isn’t over just yet. As we get closer to May 13, we’re holding onto hope that this final chapter will do justice to the characters—and to the love story that made us fall for Good Omens in the first place. Here’s hoping Aziraphale and Crowley get the happy ending they deserve… whatever form that may take.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Good Omens are available to stream exclusively on Prime Video. Good Omens 3 will drop on Prime Video on May 13. Follow us on X and Instagram for all queer stuff!
