RiVERSE Ushers In a New Era With ‘Humanity in Volume’

RiVERSE’s brand-new EP Humanity in Volume officially arrives today (December 1st), and it’s already shaping up to be one of their most powerful releases yet. Dropping on World AIDS Day, the project feels deeply intentional—an offering rooted in community, healing, and the lived realities of queer people everywhere. For a group that has built its reputation on uplifting underrepresented voices, this moment lands with real emotional weight.

Humanity in Volume is a ten-track exploration of resilience and truth, shaped in large part by founder Justice’s transformative journey following his HIV diagnosis in 2021. It’s rare that an EP feels this personal, but from the very first notes, you can hear how much of himself he’s woven into it. As Justice shares, I feel like I have been training my whole life for this moment. Humanity In Volume represents everything that I am: truth, vulnerability, authenticity, music, and advocacy.” That clarity, that sense of living openly and unapologetically, anchors the entire project.

What we love about RiVERSE is how each member brings their own story to the group, blending their experiences into something honest and communal. Whether it’s Zak’s eight years of sobriety, Monroe’s recovery from thyroid cancer, Khadija’s vocal strength and presence as a queer Black woman in pop, or Justice’s fierce advocacy work, their journeys create a foundation that makes Humanity in Volume feel bigger than a standard pop release. It’s a project built on lived truths, which is exactly why it resonates.

Of course, we’ve already gotten a taste of this new era through the lead single Lovin’ Me Down, released on November 20. The track is polished, vibrant, and emotionally grounded, offering a perfect entry point into the sonic world of the EP.

In recent months, RiVERSE has also found new audiences through their viral K-pop cover videos, racking up millions of views and proving just how versatile and engaging they are as performers. But beyond the viral momentum, what really matters, and what Humanity in Volume underlines beautifully, is their commitment to using music as a space for advocacy, representation, and healing. Confronting HIV stigma, owning their identities, and celebrating resilience aren’t just themes; they’re the heartbeat of the EP.

With Humanity in Volume, RiVERSE isn’t just releasing new music… they’re opening a conversation, inviting listeners into a space filled with truth, courage, and queer joy. And if you’re diving into new music today, we seriously recommend giving the EP a full listen, adding your favorite tracks to your playlist, and letting RiVERSE’s message of authenticity and community carry you through the week.
