‘I Wish You All the Best’ in Theaters November 7—Check Out the Brand New Trailer!
We’ve been begging the gay gods to bless us with this one, and at long last (and on the very last day of Pride Month), they’ve answered. As longtime fans of Mason Deaver’s groundbreaking YA novel I Wish You All the Best, we’ve been dying to see it come alive on screen. And now, thanks to Lionsgate, our wish is finally coming true: I Wish You All the Best will be released in theaters November 7.
Along with the release date announcement, we also got a first look at the official trailer and a brand-new poster. And yes, they’re both as gorgeous and heart-wrenching as we hoped. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer gives us a glimpse into what makes this story so powerful: the raw honesty with which it portrays the experience of finding yourself, surviving rejection, and learning to believe you’re worthy of love.
In case you’re new to the story, here’s the rundown. The film follows Ben (Corey Fogelmanis), a nonbinary teen who gets kicked out of their home after coming out. They end up living with their estranged older sister, starting over at a new school, and slowly learning what safety, friendship, and even love can feel like. It’s a coming-of-age journey that doesn’t skip over the hard parts but instead gives space for healing—quiet moments, small joys, and the kind of support that feels real and lived-in.

The official synopsis reads:
“In this refreshingly modern coming-of-age story based on the best-selling book by Mason Deaver, a high school junior (Corey Fogelmanis) comes out as nonbinary and is thrown out of their family’s home. With nowhere else to turn, they move in with their estranged older sister (Alexandra Daddario) and her husband (Cole Sprouse). After enrolling in a new school, they find support from an eccentric art teacher (Lena Dunham) and form an unexpected bond with a kindhearted student (Miles Gutierrez-Riley). With the help of their new relationships, they navigate the awkward hurdles of young adulthood in this sweetly funny journey of self-discovery that celebrates the power of being true to yourself.”
