TV Pins Celebrate Pride With New Anthem ‘Version of Love’

TV Pins are kicking off a brand-new chapter with a message that couldn’t be more fitting for Pride Month. The London and West Midlands indie rock outfit have returned with Version of Love, an uplifting new single that celebrates queer joy, identity, and the idea that every form of love deserves to be seen, respected, and embraced.

Serving as the band’s first new release since their debut album Aircutter, Version of Love arrives as both a catchy indie rock anthem and a clear statement of support for LGBTQ+ communities. Built around bright guitars, soaring melodies, and the vocal harmonies that have become a defining part of the band’s sound, the track leans into optimism while encouraging listeners to proudly celebrate who they are and who they love.

Leading the message is vocalist Grace Hinks, who explains exactly what inspired the song. “To me, it’s about accepting and standing up to those who don’t embrace all forms of love – romantic, aromantic, and especially queer joy,” Hinks shares. “It’s about celebrating that openly.”

It’s a sentiment that feels especially meaningful during Pride Month, when visibility and community remain just as important as celebration. Rather than treating inclusivity as an afterthought, TV Pins place it front and center, delivering a song that invites everyone to sing along while reminding listeners that love has never existed in just one form.

Version of Love also offers a first taste of the band’s upcoming self-released EP, which was recorded in Wales and Leamington Spa alongside producer Mark Neary, whose previous work includes collaborations with Adele, Pete Doherty, and Noel Gallagher. If this single is any indication, the next era of TV Pins looks set to continue blending their signature mix of indie rock, prog-pop, new wave, and Americana influences while pushing their songwriting into even more personal territory.

Over the past few years, TV Pins have steadily built a loyal audience across the UK through headline tours and appearances at festivals including Lakefest, Camp Bestival, Also Festival, and Loopfest. Their debut album Aircutter also earned praise from critics and support from BBC Introducing, helping establish the five-piece as one of the UK’s rising alternative acts.

Alongside the single, the band has also released an official music video that brings the spirit of Version of Love to life. Whether you’re discovering TV Pins for the first time or have been following them since Aircutter, it’s well worth giving both the song and its visuals a watch.

With Pride celebrations in full swing, Version of Love arrives as a timely reminder that every expression of love deserves to be celebrated loudly, proudly, and without apology. That’s a message we’ll never get tired of hearing.
