The Hunting Wives Season 2 Trailer Teases More Queer Tension and Deadly Secrets

The wives of Maple Brook are getting back into trouble! Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 2 of The Hunting Wives, and if we thought things were already messy between Sophie and Margo, it looks like we’re in for another round of seduction, scandal, and murder. The new season arrives on November 26, 2026, just in time to give our Thanksgiving plans a very different kind of drama.

Watch the official trailer for The Hunting Wives Season 2 below!

Starring Brittany Snow as Sophie O’Neil and Malin Åkerman as Margo Banks, the steamy thriller is returning with eight new episodes that promise to make Maple Brook, Texas, even more dangerous. Following the explosive events of Season 1, Sophie and Margo find themselves on opposite sides, but their complicated history might not be so easy to leave behind. Old secrets and new enemies are about to bring them back into each other’s orbit, raising a familiar question: how much trouble can these two get into before everything comes crashing down?

The new trailer offers a taste of what awaits, teasing the kind of tangled relationships and suspicious goings-on that have made the series such an addictive watch. There are new faces entering the picture, fresh reasons to be suspicious of just about everyone, and plenty of tension surrounding Sophie and Margo’s relationship. With desire and danger so closely intertwined, we can probably expect a few more questionable decisions before the season is over.

For us, aka the gays, the complicated connection between Sophie and Margo remains a major reason to keep watching. Their relationship has never been particularly straightforward, blending attraction, obsession, power, and emotional vulnerability in ways that make it difficult to look away. The series puts a queer relationship right in the middle of its scandalous world, allowing its central characters to be messy, unpredictable, and far from perfect. And with the two women starting the season on bad terms, we’re curious to see what it will take to bring them back together, and whether they can trust each other when so much is at stake.

Creator, showrunner, and executive producer Rebecca Cutter is ready to take audiences back into the chaos, promising that the story isn’t slowing down anytime soon. With a third season already confirmed, there’s plenty more Maple Brook drama on the horizon. As Cutter puts it, “Season 3 will be even more scandalous and twisted.”

Of course, we still have Season 2 to get through first, and the new trailer leaves us with plenty of questions. Who can Sophie trust? What does Margo really want? And when another round of secrets and violence threatens to turn the town upside down, will these women come out on top or find themselves caught in their own dangerous games?

We’ll find out when The Hunting Wives Season 2 premieres on Netflix on November 26.
