Hearstopper Season 2: the teaser trailer is out!

It’s here! It’s finally here! With a little more than a month to go before its official premiere, Netlfix has finally released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season of its hit show Heartstopper. Yes, fam, we have more Heartstopper content!

Along with the teaser trailer, the streaming giant also shared new images of the season where we can see all our favorite characters in different situations and of course, the official poster. Everything, the new teaser and poster focus on the group’s trip to Paris, which if you’re a fan of the graphic novels the series is based on, you should know is vital for the new season.

Anygays, the teaser is really short (like less than 30 seconds short, fam, so be forewarned), but in a very Heartstopper style, it gives us A LOT to talk about. With the tagline ‘Show the world what love is made of,’ we see the show’s lead couple, Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) – now out and proud – enjoying their time in Paris and living their love fully. We also get a glimpse of the rest of our favorites Tara (Corinna Brown), Dracy (Kizzy Edgell), Tao (William Gao), Elle (Yasmin Finney), and Isaac (Tobie Donovan), who all seem to be going through their own thing. Especially Tao and Elle, who seem to be testing if they can be more than just friends.

According to Netflix, in Heartstopper Season 2, the characters will navigate their romantic relationships while also facing other challenges. They have a lot on their plates as they prepare for exams, go on a trip to the city of love, and get ready for prom. It’s a busy season ahead!

Nick will continue exploring his sexual identity while also handling his father, Stephane (Thibault De Montalembert), and brother, David (Jack Barton), whom he doesn’t see often. Isaac will likely become the ace representation the show has been lacking. And Charlie will start to deal with more significant mental health issues.

Coupled with this and with the opening scene and titles of all eight epsiodes of Heartstopper season 2 already revealed, we think it’s safe to say that we’re in for a treat. And honestly? We can’t wait.

Heartstopper Season 2 will be streaming exclusively on Netflix on August 3. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for all queer stuff!
