Is Jonathan Bailey joining Heartstopper Season 3? Here’s everything we know so far!

Hey there, folks! We’ve got some juicy rumors swirling around the potential casting of Fellow Travelers star Jonathan Bailey in Heartstopper Season 3, and we’re here to spill the tea!

So, what’s the buzz? Well, it all started with a mysterious Instagram account under the name “Jack Maddox,” which appeared on March 13 and then quickly went private. But not before eagle-eyed fans and entertainment sources caught wind of it! The account bio teased us with snippets about Jack being a scholar, keyboardist, and racer, and hinted at a book titled Meditations on the Greek Complex.

But here’s the real kicker: the account featured not one, not two, but three photos of Jonathan Bailey in character as Jack Maddox! Two of those pics showed Bailey proudly holding a “trans rights are human rights” sign and the last one showed him holding a book called 10 Things I Hate About Plato, authored by, you guessed it…Jack Maddox. 

Now, let’s dive into the connection between Jack Maddox and our beloved Heartstopper universe. Jack seems to be inspired by Henry Maddox, a character from the mini-comic The Ethics of Infatuation Dynamics penned by Lauren James and illustrated by Alice Oseman. Henry is a renowned classicist, and Charlie Spring, our sweet protagonist, has a major crush on him.

And guess what? Those leaked Instagram details about Jack Maddox line up perfectly with Henry’s background! From being a former musician to participating in the Dakar Rally, it’s all adding up to a potential Jonathan Bailey casting. But hold your horses, Netflix hasn’t spilled the beans officially yet, so take all this with a grain of salt!
