The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Streaming Debut Set for AMC+ This August

Beautiful Unwell, we have some fantastic news to share today. If you weren’t lucky enough to witness Lestat’s sold-out One Night Only concert at New York City’s Beacon Theatre back in June, don’t start mourning just yet. AMC was rolling cameras that night, and now the unforgettable performance is getting the encore it deserves. The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only will make its streaming debut on AMC+ on Sunday, August 23, giving fans everywhere the chance to experience the event from home.

Talk about a worthy encore.

The concert was originally staged as part of the celebrations surrounding the premiere of The Vampire Lestat, transforming the Beacon Theatre into a gathering place for the Beautiful Unwell. Featuring original songs from series composer Daniel Hart and performed by Lestat’s very human vessel, Sam Reid, the event brought Lestat’s rockstar era to life in front of a standing-room-only crowd. Those of us who couldn’t make it to Manhattan have been living through fan videos and social media clips ever since, so we’re beyond excited that the full performance is finally making its way to AMC+.

Before the One Night Only streaming debut arrives, however, attendees at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con will get an exclusive first look. On Friday, July 24, highlights from the concert will be screened during The Vampire Lestat‘s Hall H presentation, which runs from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. PT.

Following the screening, members of the cast and executive producers will take the Hall H stage to reflect on the show’s jaw-dropping season, which concludes with its finale on July 19. Considering everything this series has packed into this season, we have a feeling there will be plenty to discuss.

The series has certainly earned its victory lap. The Vampire Lestat currently holds a perfect 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, with Sam Reid’s magnetic performance as the Brat Prince continuing to win over both longtime Anne Rice readers and newcomers alike.

We’ll absolutely be keeping our eyes on everything coming out of Hall H next week. Whether it’s behind-the-scenes stories from the cast, fresh reveals about what’s next for the series, or—dare we dream?—a renewal announcement, we’ll be covering all the biggest The Vampire Lestat news as it happens.

Until then, mark your calendars for August 23. The One Night Only streaming debut looks like the perfect excuse to relive Lestat’s concert or experience it for the very first time. We’ll definitely be pressing play the moment it arrives on AMC+.

The Vampire Lestat Episodes 1-6 are available to stream on AMC+. Episode 7, The Failures, will premiere on AMC on Sunday, July 19, at 9 pm ET/PT. Seasons 1 and 2 of Interview With the Vampire are available to stream on AMC+, Netflix, and Prime Video (depending on the region). Follow us on X and Instagram for all queer stuff!
