Chappell Roan Announces ‘Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things’ Fall Pop-Up Shows

Just when we thought Chappell Roan couldn’t love us any harder, she goes and gives us eight new reasons to scream, cry, and wear too much glitter. Ahead of the much-anticipated release of her next single, The Subway—which, if the posters popping up all over New York City are to be believed, is coming August 1st—the queer pop sensation has announced a run of special shows under the whimsical banner of Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things.

These pop-up concerts will take place across just three cities—New York, Kansas City, and Pasadena—this September and October, giving fans in those areas an exclusive chance to see Roan do what she does best: make magic. With four nights scheduled at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, two at Kansas City’s Museum and Memorial Park, and two more at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, it’s clear she’s pulling out all the stops.

“I love these three cities so much + wanted the chance to do something special before going away to write the next album,” Roan shared on social media. She also emphasized her commitment to keeping ticket prices accessible, with support from Cash App and Fair AXS to help avoid scalpers and bots. Fans using a Cash App Visa debit card will get 15% cashback, and a portion of each ticket sold will be donated to organizations supporting trans youth in each city. A cause Roan continues to uplift with pride.

The Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things dates are as follows:

• September 20–24: Forest Hills, NY @ Forest Hills Stadium
• October 3–4: Kansas City, MO @ Museum and Memorial Park
• October 10–11: Pasadena, CA @ Brookside at the Rose Bowl
