Lois Levin Longs for Connection on Soulful New Single “Felt”
Rising British soul and jazz singer Lois Levin is back with her new single Felt, out now on all major music platforms. And trust us, you’re going to want this one on repeat. The track is the latest glimpse into Levin’s upcoming debut EP motions, arriving July 4, and available for pre-order here.
With heartfelt lyricism and a voice that could melt even the iciest of hearts, Felt aches with a quiet, intimate desperation. It’s a song that hits deep, echoing the longing so many of us in the queer community know all too well—that craving to be seen, to be held, to be truly known. Lois’ rich, old-school soul influences collide with modern textures, making for a sound that feels timeless yet fresh. As she puts it: “‘Felt’ is about the ache for real connection—craving to be seen, touched, and understood in a world that often feels emotionally distant. It’s a quiet plea for intimacy wrapped in hesitation, loneliness, and a longing to feel something true.“
Lois Levin will bring that raw emotional energy to the stage at London’s St Pancras Old Church on June 12. Tickets are still available via AEG Presents, and if you’re anywhere near London, this one’s not to be missed.

If Levin’s name is new to you, now’s the time to get acquainted. Since dropping her debut single in 2021, the Birkenhead-born artist has quickly become one of Liverpool’s brightest new talents. She’s earned love from Spotify editorial playlists, scored A-list spots on Jazz FM, and enjoyed radio play across BBC Radio 2, 6Music, and BBC Merseyside.
Lois blends the warmth of Marvin Gaye and Billie Holiday with the modern edge of Arctic Monkeys and Florence + The Machine. Her music walks the line between soulful jazz and indie pop, carrying a lyrical honesty that feels beautifully queer in its vulnerability and self-awareness. After connecting with Liverpool-based producer Jon Withnall (Rihanna, Coldplay) during lockdown, the two began crafting a sound that’s both expansive and deeply personal.
From early support by Wonderland and EARMILK to sell-out shows at Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room and Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club, Lois Levin is building a career rooted in connection, authenticity, and soul. And we’re absolutely here for it.
