Zander Moricz Takes Down Moms For Liberty Co-Founder Bridget Ziegler

Harvard student Zander Moricz is currently going viral after confronting Moms For Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler after public demands for her resignation over a consensual threesome with her husband and another woman. Addressing her directly, Moricz says that their first interaction was when Ziegler reposted a hate article written about him by The Nationalist regarding his immorality regarding his sexuality. Now, Moricz is clapping back in light of the new allegations against the Republican Sarasota County School Board member.

A massive supporter of Florida’s hateful “Don’t Say Gay” bill, many are highlighting the hypocrisy of Ziegler’s actions. However, in his very public dressing down of the politician, Zander Moricz makes it clear that he thinks she should be fired from her post at the Sarasota County School Board because she is bad at her job, not because she had sex with a woman.

“Bridget Ziegler, you do not deserve to be on the Sarasota County School Board, but you do not deserve to be removed from it for having a threesome. That defeats the lesson we have been trying to teach you, which is that a politician’s job is to serve their community, not to police personal lives,” says Moricz.

Then, in a move to make sure there is no misunderstanding surrounding his words or his intentions with his address, he clarifies exactly what he means in layman’s terms.

“So to be extra clear, Bridget: you deserve to be fired from your job because you are terrible at your job, not because you had sex with a woman,” says Moricz before walking away from the podium.

During her time serving on the Sarasota County School Board, Bridget Ziegler has actively worked to see books banned from schools, has used public funding to target trans and LGBTQ students, and advocated for the removal of teaching Black history accurately from the school curriculum.

As news of her sexual encounter surfaced,  the Sarasota County School Board, which covers the Gulf Coast district of South Tampa voted this week in favor of a non-binding resolution calling for Bridget Ziegler’s resignation.

The Sarasota County School Board caught wind of the situation regarding Ziegler’s private sex life, as her husband, Christian Ziegler, who is also a Florida GOP chairman, is now accused of sexual battery by the woman whom he and his wife engaged in a threesome with.
