First look at The L Word: Generation Q season 3

Lady gays unite! The much anticipated The L Word: Generation Q season 3 is upon us. On November 18, the sapphic chaos begins. Showtime dropped the official season 3 trailer and we have to say, it looks like an absolute serve! All our favorites are back and it seems like they’re all up to nonsense and no good. Bring it on, lady queers, bring it on!

At the end of season 2, Angie (Jordan Hull)  heads to prom with a girl, Sophie (Rosanny Zayas) and Dani’s (Arienne Mandi) wedding is called off on account of their imploding relationship, Finley (Jacqueline Toboni) – who has been MIA – shows up at Dani’s apartment in a right state and is in desperate need of intervention, finally, it’s clear that Bette (Jennifer Beals) still has a lady boner for mama Tina (Laurel Holloman).

The L Word: Generation Q season 2 trailer is wild, y’all, and it’s precisely the kind of shenanigans we expected of our favorite neighborhood lady queers. Take a look at all the happenings here:

Clearly, Tina puts Bette on blast and asks about her Feelings™️, and based on the cut in the Generation Q season 3 trailer, the news doesn’t go down super well with mama T. That’s probably because Tina has a partner in her life already and Bette coming along and messing that all up for her is such a Bette thing to do.

Also on brand is Shane (Kate Moening) getting drinks thrown in her face by angry sapphics. If you had told us that there was going to be a lesbian series with Shane in it that didn’t include Shane pissing off all the ladygays, we’d have said we didn’t believe it was real, because y’all, Shane is Shane. Ya know?

We’re covering our eyes for the grossness that was Shane and Alice (Leisha Hailey) going in for that kiss, but based on their reactions, it seems like it never actually happens – thank god!

We need to know what happens with Finley, because even though she is a hot mess and a half, she holds a special place in the Q+ Magazine collective heart, and we really want to see her happy and thriving. Because of the horrendous depression, low self-esteem, and obvious substance abuse problem, that seems unlikely any time soon.

November 18 can’t get here fast enough. The sapphic energy is buzzing right now and The L Word: Generation Q season 3 just became the most anticipated show for the lady gays in this office.
