Hulu’s Mid-Century Modern Drops First Trailer!
Friends by chance, family by choice. After confirming that their new multi-cam series Mid-Century Modern will be premiering on March 28, Hulu has now released the show’s first trailer. And listen, we’re not complicated, when we see a new sitcom starring some of our faves, we’re in.
Mid-Century Modern follows three best friends—gay gentlemen of a certain age—who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs. The wealthiest of the trio, Bunny, already shares his home with his sharp-tongued mother, Sybil, adding an extra layer of chaos to their chosen family dynamic. But no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done.
In the trailer, we’re introduced to these fabulous gentlemen—Bunny (Nathan Lane), Jerry (Matt Bomer), and Arthur (Nathan Lee Graham)—as they navigate life, love, and friendship in Palm Springs. And of course, there’s Sybil (Linda Lavin), who brings her own brand of no-nonsense humor to the mix. The almost two-minute trailer gives us a sneak peek at their new living situation, packed with witty one-liners, classic sitcom hijinks, and the kind of chemistry that makes an ensemble cast shine.
