Revival’s Cover of ‘Freedom’ is Out Now!—A Powerful Anthem for Pride!
With Pride just around the corner—literally a day away—we are beyond excited to share this new song with y’all! Revival, the amazing record label and artist collective is back with a mind-blowing cover of George Michael’s iconic Freedom! from his 1990 album Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1.
This anthem of liberation and self-expression is famous for its honest lyrics that call out the music industry’s constraints and celebrate Michael’s journey to personal and creative freedom. Revival’s version—featuring vocalist and songwriter Peyton and the Geo Gospel Choir—brings the same powerful message with captivating vocals and a fresh, modern beat.
Revival shared their excitement about this project, saying, “We’re back with our seventh single, and this time we’ve given the Revival treatment to George Michael’s titanic anthem, ‘Freedom.’ Dance music’s powerhouse vocalist Peyton is no stranger to anthems, and with the collaborative backing of the GeO Gospel Choir, we’re taking this classic to church and back again to the dance floor just in time for Pride month.
