Love at First Kiss: ‘I Kissed A Girl’ Is Streaming Now on Hulu

After the success of I Kissed A Boy, Australian singer, presenter, actress, and all-around gay icon Dannii Minogue is back to play Cupid—this time for girls who like girls—with I Kissed A Girl. Streaming now on Hulu, this sapphic dating show is exactly what we’ve been waiting for. The premise is refreshingly simple: ten single girls are matched up and meet for the first time… with a kiss. No small talk, no swiping on apps—just one kiss that could be the start of something new.

Narrated by Charley Marlowe, a Liverpudlian LGBTQ+ presenter and comedian, I Kissed A Girl is set in the stunning Italian country house known as the “Masseria.” Before the show, the contestants are carefully matched based on what they’re looking for in a partner. After that first electrifying kiss, the women are encouraged to get to know their new partners in the 10-episode run and see if they can turn that spark into something more.

In the first episode, we’re introduced to a fantastic mix of ladies, including makeup artist & hair stylist Abbie Cole, social media manager Amy Spalding, support worker Cara Kinney, publishing executive Demi Echezona, drummer Fiorenza Cocozza, professional footballer Georgia Robert, psychology undergraduate Alishia “Lisha” Paige, fire breather Megan Homer, engineer Name Stoute, and hotel customer service specialist Priya Sohanpal.

But things don’t stay calm for long—new girls join the house in later episodes, shaking things up. Fashion graduate Eva Adamson enters in episode two, followed by paralegal Beth Cave, cancer research scientist Emily Hobern, and student/footballer Leila Muscat in episode four. Episode five completes the cast with student Hannah Simpson and singer Thea Hallow. So, there are plenty of ladies to choose from if you ask us.

Be sure to check out the trailer below and see what the buzz is about.

In a media landscape where sapphic representation can still feel scarce, we’re thrilled that this BBC production has found a home on Hulu, allowing it to reach audiences on this side of the Atlantic. We hope it’ll soon be available on even more platforms so everyone can enjoy it.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got some binge-watching to do. This might just be the perfect weekend watch!
