The ‘Good Omens 3’ Trailer Is Here, and We’re Already Emotionally Unwell About the Finale

It’s here. It’s finally here. The finale of Good Omens is just around the corner, and Prime Video has dropped the Good Omens 3 trailer, and yes, we very much feel like screaming from the rooftops. There’s so much to unpack, so much we don’t know yet, and somehow May 13 still feels impossibly far away. If you need us, we’ll be spiraling (affectionately) until then.

But anygays… Alongside the Good Omens 3 trailer, we also got a clearer idea of what this 90-minute final chapter has in store, and let’s just say, we’re not ready. Returning for one last ineffable adventure, Good Omens 3 picks up where the story left off in Season 2. Our beloved and unlikely duo—angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and demon Crowley (David Tennant)—are back, but things are… complicated.

After Aziraphale accepted Heaven’s offer and left Crowley behind, their millennia-long bond has been fractured in a way that still hurts to even think about. Now serving as the newly appointed Supreme Archangel, Aziraphale is tasked with overseeing the Second Coming. Casual, right? Except not at all. The weight of this responsibility is clearly taking a toll, especially as his decisions stir tension among the other angels. Meanwhile, Crowley is down bad—heartbroken, aimless, and wandering the streets of Soho.

As the fate of the universe hangs in the balance (as it does), the two must confront everything that’s been left unsaid. From London gangsters to Hellish threats, and from betrayal to deeply buried feelings, this final chapter promises to push them to their emotional limits. The big question? Whether their relationship and the world are worth saving.

The Good Omens 3 trailer gives us glimpses of all this and more, teasing chaos on both celestial sides. And honestly, are we surprised that neither Heaven nor Hell seems capable of doing the right thing? Not even a little.

It’s a lot to process, truly. Because while Aziraphale and Crowley have always fought for the greater good, we can’t help but wonder, what if this time, they choose themselves? What if, just maybe, they get the happy ending they deserve? Wherever that may be. We’re cautiously hopeful… and fully bracing for emotional devastation.

The finale stars Sheen and Tennant as Aziraphale and Crowley, respectively, with Doon Mackichan, Gloria Obianyo, Liz Carr, Paul Chahidi, Quelin Sepulveda, and Sir Derek Jacobi reprising their roles. As we previously shared, Bilal Hasna joins the cast as Jesus. The episode is directed by Rachel Talalay, with executive producers including Talalay, Rob Wilkins (representing Terry Pratchett’s estate), Josh Cole, and produced by Sarah-Kate Fenelon and Chris Newman.

We don’t know about y’all, but we’re officially counting down the days until Good Omens 3 hits our screens. Until then, you already know where to find us: replaying the Good Omens 3 trailer, dissecting every frame, and fully leaning into our roles as the gay scholars we are.
