Yvie Oddly Joins Forces With The Trevor Project for Giving Tuesday
As we head into another Giving Tuesday (this year landing on December 2), there’s something especially powerful about seeing queer artists use their platforms to pour back into the community. And leave it to Yvie Oddly, the one-of-a-kind Drag Race champion who’s built a career on authenticity and audacity, to turn this year’s celebration into an act of love for LGBTQ+ young people across the country.
To mark both Trans Awareness Week and Giving Tuesday 2025, Yvie Oddly is partnering with The Trevor Project, the nation’s leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ youth. Together, they’re using the spotlight to remind young queer and trans people—especially those who don’t always see themselves reflected or supported—that their identities, their magic, and yes, their oddity, are worth celebrating.
For one day only, fans can snag autographed copies of Yvie’s memoir, All About Yvie: Into the Oddity exclusively through OddlyYvie.com. Every purchase contributes to a donation supporting The Trevor Project’s life-saving mission. It’s a simple action with a huge impact, especially when we consider the realities facing LGBTQ+ youth today.
As Yvie puts it, “So many queer and trans young people grow up feeling like their uniqueness is something to hide. This book celebrates every strange, sparkly, and spectacular part of who we are. By supporting The Trevor Project, we remind every LGBTQ+ kid that they are loved, valued, and never alone.”

Yvie’s partnership isn’t just symbolic, it’s timely. The Trevor Project continues to report staggering data: LGBTQ+ youth remain over four times more likely to attempt suicide than their peers, and more than 1.8 million young LGBTQ+ people seriously consider suicide every year. For Black transgender and nonbinary youth in particular, the crisis is even sharper. Kevin Wong, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Content at The Trevor Project, shared, “Our research shows that one in five Black transgender and nonbinary young people reported a suicide attempt in the past year, underscoring the importance of amplifying Black queer and trans voices that inspire hope. Yvie’s story shows that embracing your true self can be an act of courage and self-love. We are deeply grateful for Yvie’s partnership and commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ youth.”
That’s what makes this collaboration so meaningful. Yvie has never been afraid to show the world who she is: unfiltered, unconventional, and unapologetically queer. It’s exactly the type of visibility young people need, especially in a climate where trans and nonbinary kids are constantly fighting to exist safely and proudly.
And for anyone wondering whether buying a book can make a difference, Yvie makes the intention crystal clear. “Buying All About Yvie: Into the Oddity on Giving Tuesday is more than getting a signed copy of my book,” she says. “It helps The Trevor Project continue their life-saving work and tells queer and trans youth everywhere that their oddity is their power.”
On a day designed to uplift communities and give back, we’re thrilled to see Yvie Oddly continue using her voice and her platform to carve out space for the next generation of LGBTQ+ kids. This Giving Tuesday, picking up a signed copy feels like more than a treat for fans; it’s a reminder of what we can build together when we choose to support each other loudly, proudly, and with all the glitter we can muster.
Signed copies of Yvie Oddly’s All About Yvie: Into the Oddity will be available to purchase on December 2 through Yvie’s official website. Follow us on X and Instagram for all queer stuff!
