The final season of Sex Education: The trailer is here!

It feels like it’s been eighty-four thousand years since the last season of Sex Education landed on our screens. However, the smash hit sensation is coming back to us for one final season. When news of this broke, fans all around the world collectively rejoiced, but again, it feels like an eternity since we’ve had any real information about the upcoming fourth season. Well, the drought is broken y’all, and Netflix has finally given us the trailer for the final season of Sex Education

Based on what we’ve been gifted in the trailer, we’re in for quite a treat. Our fave British teens are definitely living up to the name of their show in the final season it seems, and the trailer shows almost all of them engaged in the thralls of sexual activity of some kind or another. The kids are off to a new school after the closure of their previous one, and it seems that the shenanigans are following them on their new endeavors.

Their new school is quite different from their old one, and all of your faves are deep in the throws of a massive culture shock. There’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe, and a group of kids who are popular for being… kind?! Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu) is totally thrown by the college’s student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) is still struggling to get over Cal (Dua Saleh). Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) tries something new by taking an Art A-Level and Adam (Connor Swindells) grapples with whether mainstream education is for him.

Over in the US, Maeve (Emma Mackey) is living her dream at the prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy (Dan Levy). Otis (Asa Butterfield) is pining after her (and clearly sending her nudes if the trailer is anything to go by), whilst adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus.

Since arriving on Netflix in 2019, Sex Education has been nominated and won multiple awards, including the top prize for Best Comedy Series for Season 3 at the 50th International Emmy Awards in 2022. Sex Education S3 had 66.6M views in its first 91 days (504.9M view hours divided by 7.59 runtime).

The final season of Sex Education is slated for worldwide release on September 21, 2023. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for all queer stuff!
