Signal Awards 2024 Nominations: Celebrating Queer Voices in Podcasting

The podcasting world is buzzing with excitement following the announcement of the Signal Awards 2024 nominations! Celebrating the best in audio storytelling, this year’s nominees highlight the diverse, dynamic talent in the industry. From heart-pounding true crime series to uplifting narratives and everything in between, the Signal Awards 2024 nominations truly showcase how sound can captivate and inspire. Categories such as Best Host, Best Co-Host Team, and Best LGBTQ+ Podcast reflect the varied voices and creative excellence in the medium. This year, we’re especially thrilled to see a strong presence of LGBTQ+ creators and themes represented across multiple categories.

For those unfamiliar with the Signal Awards, these honors celebrate excellence in podcasting, recognizing outstanding shows and creators across various categories. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see both well-established and up-and-coming voices get the recognition they deserve. The awards are broken down into four main overviews: ‘Shows,’ which celebrate everything from Best Original Music to TV & Film Recaps; ‘Limited Series & Specials,’ honoring categories like Best Writing and History; ‘Individual Episodes,’ which focus on specific episodes in areas ranging from Best Writing to Religion & Spirituality; and ‘Branded Shows & Advertising,’ spotlighting podcast series and advertising campaigns.

Now in its third year, the Signal Awards 2024 stands as a hallmark for podcasting achievement. And good news—if you haven’t already, you can still cast your vote for your favorite podcast! Voting remains open until October 17th, giving listeners just a few more days to help their top picks shine.
