New Faces and Familiar Favorites: The Third Season of Euphoria Drops Major Casting News!

A few days ago, HBO Max finally confirmed that production on the long-awaited third season of Euphoria is officially underway—almost exactly three years after Season 2 premiered. Along with the announcement, they shared a single image of leading actress Zendaya, giving fans just a small taste of what’s to come. And today, Friday, February 14, we got even more exciting updates: the full returning and new cast has been revealed!

Coming back for Season 3 are original cast members and series regulars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow. Meanwhile, Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry have been bumped up to series regulars, and Colman Domingo will be returning as a guest star.

Joining the Euphoria universe are some big names and fresh faces: Grammy winner Rosalía, NAACP Image Award winner Kadeem Hardison, and professional footballer Marshawn Lynch. Also joining the cast are Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten.

The upcoming third season of Euphoria will shake things up with a significant time jump, taking the characters out of high school and into a new stage of their lives. But here’s the catch—Season 3 won’t premiere until 2026, a full four years after the last season aired. The wait may be long, but if the show’s past success is anything to go by, we want to believe it’ll be well worth it.

As for the new cast members, they couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of Euphoria‘s next chapter. Rosalía, whose music has captivated global audiences, shared her excitement about stepping into the world of acting: “If there’s anything that excites me as much as creating a good melody or writing a great lyric, it’s becoming a better performer every day. ‘Euphoria’ has been my favorite series over the last few years, and I couldn’t be happier and more grateful to be acting alongside these incredibly talented people that I admire so much and contributing my ‘granito de arena’ to bring Sam’s vision to reality to make magic.”

For Kadeem Hardison, this role marks a meaningful reunion with Zendaya, who played his daughter in the Disney Channel sitcom K.C. Undercover: I was over the moon when I heard the news that I booked it. It’s amazing to be back on set with Z. She and I formed a tight friendship while shooting ‘K.C. Undercover’ and we’ve stayed close, so this is truly special. Sam, Ashley, the entire cast and crew have all been great to work with, and we’re all very happy to be shooting it here in LA, especially after the travesty that thousands here just experienced. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, and here’s to hoping more productions follow suit and come back to Los Angeles to shoot.”

And if you’re wondering how Marshawn Lynch feels about joining the cast, his words say it all: “I’m hella juiced about the show and getting a chance to work with the people in front and behind the camera. At the end of the day, I’m just thankful for the opportunity.”

Sam Levinson continues to serve as creator, writer, and director of Euphoria, with A24 producing the show. Returning crew members include Julio C. Perez IV, Marcell Rév, Doniella Davy, Ryan Heffington, and Kim Kimble. New additions to the crew include Colleen Atwood, Natasha Newman-Thomas, and François Audouy.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the third season of Euphoria and will update you as soon as more details about it emerge. Stay tuned to this space for all the latest!
