Do Revenge: The official Netflix trailer sneak peek

Netflix is back with another teen movie sensation! Do Revenge, which is slated to air on September 16 sees an unlikely pair of girls team up to help the other seek out revenge on their former love interests. Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, this teen film positions a queer female character as the co-lead protagonist of the story.

As teased in the official trailer released today, Drea (Camila Mendes) is the most popular girl at her high school. She’s dating Max (Austin Abrams), the perfect popular guy that everyone wants. Max does Drea dirty and releases a video of the two of them doing the dance with no pants, and the entire school sees it. Drea vows revenge.

Eleanor (Maya Hawke) is nothing like Drea. Awkward, and not cool in the Drea kind of way, Eleanor crosses paths with Carissa (Ava Capri) who started a rumor that Eleanor tried to hold Carissa down at summer camp and kiss her. In Eleanor’s words, Carissa “turned her into a predator.”

The pair of them make an unlikely alliance, but they team up nonetheless to destroy and Do Revenge on the people that hurt them. Eleanor is definitely getting some lesbian action in the trailer, so it’s safe to say that Do Revenge and all its milkshakes are likely to bring all the lesbians to the yard!

Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes are not newbies to this game. Hawke is a well established young Hollywood actor, who plays Robin Buckley on Stranger Things. Mendes was Veronica on Riverdale. Both equally talented in their own right, Do Revenge has much promise as these young ladies get to show fans another side to their abilities.

The ladies are joined by Rish Shah, Talia Ryder, Ava Capri, Jonathan Daviss, Maia Reficco, Paris Berelc, with Alisha Boe, and Sophie Turner, and is currently scheduled to burst onto your Netflix screen on September 16, 2022.
