Agatha All Along Episode 5: Teen’s Big Reveal Sends the Internet into a Frenzy!

Spoiler Alert! The following article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along Episode 5, so if you haven’t watched it yet, now’s the time to stop scrolling and start streaming! We don’t know what you’re doing on the internet anyway because last night’s episode dropped a bombshell that no one can stop talking about. This is definitely not a spoiler-free zone!

For the past three weeks, we’ve been captivated by WandaVision‘s nine-episode spin-off Agatha All Along, falling in love with its colorful cast of witches and their adopted gay teen called “Teen” (Joe Locke). Honestly, these witches are everything the internet’s been buzzing about, and last night, things took a wild turn.

In the latest Agatha All Along Episode 5, titled “Darkest Hour/Wake Thy Power,” we saw Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) finally grab the powers she had been chasing all along, but of course, it all came at a horrible cost and we saw Alice (Ali Ahn) pay the price. That’s when Teen, in a furious rage, confronts Agatha.

“So that’s what it means to be a witch? Killing people to serve your own agenda?” Teen asks, insisting, “Not for me.” Agatha smirks and that’s when the bomb is revealed, “Are you sure?” She asks, “You’re so much like your mother.”

This exchange unleashes Teen’s own powers—confirming what fans have been theorizing for ages. Teen is, in fact, Wiccan, a.k.a. Billy Kaplan, a.k.a. Billy Maximoff, none other than Scarlet Witch’s (Wanda Maximoff’s) son (Elizabeth Olsen).

This reveal sent the internet into overdrive, but let’s be honest—it’s something we all kind of saw coming. Since Joe Locke was cast for the Disney+ Marvel show, fans have been debating whether Teen was Wanda’s son or maybe Nicholas Scratch, Agatha’s own child. After last week’s confirmation that Nicholas Scratch was out of the running, it became pretty clear who Teen really was.

For those unfamiliar with Marvel Comics, Wiccan aka Billy Kaplan is one of the most powerful young superheroes in the Marvel universe. He wields chaos magic, passed down from his mother, Wanda, and can bend reality itself. Not only that, but Wiccan is a major LGBTQ+ icon within Marvel as one of their first openly gay heroes, known for his romance with fellow Young Avenger Hulkling (who has to be yet introduced into the MCU). This reveal means we’re likely heading towards more Young Avengers storylines, and we’re seriously pumped about that!

Wiccan’s introduction in Agatha All Along has opened up huge possibilities for what’s next in the MCU. His powers, his legacy, and his role as a queer superhero are set to become even more important as the universe expands. We’re ready for more LGBTQ+ representation in these stories, and Wiccan’s arrival is just the beginning.

So, if you’re not caught up on Agatha All Along Episode 5, what are you waiting for? It’s clear that the gays are taking over the MCU, and we are so here for it. With Joe Locke leading the charge, it feels like this is just the beginning of a much-needed wave of queer superheroes ready to shine. The future of the MCU looks a whole lot more colorful—and honestly, it’s about time. We’re ready for all the chaos, magic, and LGBTQ+ representation to take center stage!
